Michael Pollock
MICHAEL POLLOCK
Michael, Opening Night's fabulous musical director, grew up in Anna, Texas, and played his first gig
when he was 15, tickling the ivories 6 nights a week at a Shakey's Pizza on the Texas/Oklahoma state
line. He eventually made his way to better pianos, accompanying artists on The Tonight Show,
Evening at the Improv, Arsenio , and Dolly! , and appearing in concert with Chuck Berry. His vocal
arrangements have been featured on The Drew Carey Show and ABC's Emmy Award-winning
Tuesdays with Morrie . Michael studied at UT Austin, Pacific Conservatory of Performing Arts,
and the Grove School of Music, and is currently a student of Howard Richman.  Michael is also a
teacher and musical director for Second City LA.  Michael wrote "Remember Tonight and Smile" for
Columbia Pictures' Punchline, and he hopes you will do exactly that.

Check out Michael's
website for more information, including ways to buy any of his three books
about musical improv and piano in the world of comedy.
